Manage full storage
If storage is full or over its limit, new uploads and generated content may be blocked. Check what occupies the space before deleting files or buying more capacity.
Check usage
Open the purchase dialog from the sidebar Credits menu. Select Manage beside Storage in the top row to review your used and available space. Check the project and file details provided there.
Storage can include uploaded manuscripts, recordings, mixed and final audio, assets, AI-generated audio, and temporary download packages.
Free space
Use Smart Cleanup
Open storage management and select Smart Cleanup where available. Review the listed file categories and selection before confirming. The cleanup result shows the space released.
Do not assume every file listed is safe to delete without checking it. Keep original recordings and final deliverables you still need.
Delete unneeded assets
Open Assets, locate unused files, and select Delete from the relevant menu. Check whether they are still needed by you or your team. Project copies and library assets can be separate; review the deletion notice before proceeding.
Review completed projects and temporary exports
Download the final audio you need. In storage management, review temporary export packages and project files that can be removed. Delete an entire project only when you no longer need its script, recordings, and other production data; project deletion cannot be undone.
Buy Extra Storage
- Open the purchase dialog and select Resources.
- Under Extra Storage, choose the amount in 50 GB increments.
- Choose one month or one year.
- Check the total: $2 per 50 GB for one month, or $20 per 50 GB for one year.
- Select Buy Storage and complete Dodo checkout.
- Check your updated capacity after payment.
If storage decreases
Membership changes and resource expiration can reduce your allowance. If you exceed the resulting limit, restore capacity or delete unneeded files to resume adding content. Existing content remains available to view, play, and download.
Keep a local copy of important deliverables. Check the storage notice for applicable retention terms instead of treating an over-limit account as permanent archive storage.
Collaborative projects
Make sure you are reviewing the storage account responsible for the project. If you cannot manage its storage, ask the creator or an administrator to check usage and available resources.
See Buy extra resources, Seat and storage expiration, and Delete a project.
