Collaboration FAQ

Does every collaborator need a paid plan?

The account responsible for collaboration needs active Team or Business benefits. Invited members can work according to their assigned access; they do not necessarily each need a Team subscription.

Are team members and crew members the same?

A team is the organizational workspace. Crew is the group participating in a particular project. Story characters and permission roles are separate again. See Collaboration overview.

What if a project needs more people?

Check its seat limit: Team includes 25 and Business 50. Project Seats add participants at $3 per seat for one month or $30 for one year. Studio Bundle adds 35 project seats and 500 GB storage at $29 for one month or $290 for one year.

Each project's limit is independent. See Project seats.

Why do I have no Recording tasks?

A Recording duty also needs a character assigned to you. Ask the director to check your character-to-performer bindings and chapter assignments.

Can a director also do production work?

Yes. A member can hold several duties. Check each duty's tasks separately, and distinguish completing your own work from managing chapter movement.

Can a completed task be changed?

An assignee cannot simply undo completion. A director or authorized workflow manager can reopen the relevant work through chapter movement. Coordinate before reassigning work already started.

How should we communicate about a correction?

Use comments for discussion and an Issue for a correction that needs tracking. Include the chapter and segment so the responsible person can locate it.

What if credits are insufficient?

Project AI processing uses the project creator's credits. Ask the creator to check the available balance and top up if needed. Buying more credits does not resolve a separate permission or storage restriction.

What if a member is frozen or removed?

Frozen access restricts editing while preserving existing work. Removing a member cancels unfinished tasks and releases relevant assignments; completed project work remains. Check the exact scope of the member action.
