Credits and membership FAQ

What is the difference between membership and credits?

Membership provides plan benefits; credits pay for AI processing. Buying credits does not unlock batch tools or collaboration. See Membership plans and Understand credits.

Do memberships renew automatically?

Yes. Paid memberships are monthly or annual subscriptions. Annual billing provides 12 months for the price of 10, shown as 2 months free. Cancel automatic renewal if you do not want future renewal charges.

How do I change or cancel a plan?

Open the purchase dialog and select Manage beside Current plan. Upgrades with the same billing interval and switches from monthly to annual on the same or a higher plan take effect after payment. Downgrades and same-plan annual-to-monthly switches take effect at period end. Annual-to-monthly upgrades are unavailable during the current annual period. See Manage your subscription.

Will my projects disappear when paid benefits end?

Membership ending does not itself delete existing projects or audio. Paid features and collaboration are restricted, and a lower storage allowance can prevent new uploads or generation. See When paid membership benefits end.

Can I still use purchased credits afterward?

Yes, within their original validity. Purchased credits, including Boost Packs, last 36 calendar months from grant. Bonus credits last 31 × 24 hours; subscription credits remain available across two consecutive Benefit Windows and expire at the start of the third.

Where can I see my balance?

Hover over Credits in the page sidebar. Select View usage for history, or Top Up to purchase credits. The Standard Top-Up rate is US$1 = 10,000 credits.

Which account pays in a collaborative project?

Smart Scripting, AI narration, Smart Alignment, and Smart Review use the project creator's credits. Personal AI audio tools use the operator's own credits.

Do more seats apply across all projects?

Project Seats increase the participant limit within each project. They do not form a shared headcount pool across projects. Project Seats and Studio Bundle benefits require active Team or Business membership.
