Credit usage rules

Check the estimated credit charge before starting AI processing. The final usage record tells you which work completed and how much was charged.

When a charge is finalized

OperationCompleted work that is charged
Smart ScriptingSuccessfully generated script
AI narrationSuccessfully generated audio
Smart AlignmentSuccessfully generated transcript, even if matching needs manual correction
Smart ReviewSuccessfully generated transcript
Voice DesignCompleted design generation, subject to the session's retry allowance
Generate SFX and Quick VoiceoverEach successfully completed paid generation

If some parts of a batch fail, the completed portions are charged and credits reserved for the failed portions are released or returned. Check the usage record to see the result.

Balance checks and reserved credits

Audimind checks the paying account's balance before starting a paid operation. Credits may be reserved while it processes. If the balance is insufficient, purchase more credits or, for a collaborative project, contact the project creator.

An order remains associated with the paying account selected when it started. Changing project ownership does not move an already-started order to another account.

Which credits are used first?

Credits with the earliest expiration are used first. Where expiration is the same, bonus credits precede subscription credits and purchased credits in that order. Purchased credits are not necessarily used last if they expire sooner than other grants.

Generation and regeneration

Playing existing audio is different from generating new audio. Changing text, voices, or generation settings can require another paid generation. A retry included in a Voice Design session is different from starting a new paid design. Check the prompt before continuing.

A browser or network interruption does not establish whether processing failed. The server may have completed the work. Check Processing and usage history before starting the same task again.

Payment disputes and refunds

Automatic release of credits for failed processing is different from a refund of a credit purchase. Credits cannot be transferred or withdrawn as cash. For a disputed purchase or charge, contact support with the relevant record. Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund Policy and applicable law.
