Complete review and hand off the chapter

Agree on the production's review standard before marking a chapter complete. A transcript can help locate differences, but final acceptance requires listening and resolving the work that matters to your delivery.

Before completion

• Check potentially missed, added, or misread speech against the audio.
• Listen manually to unrecognized passages.
• Resolve and verify Issues that require corrections.
• Regenerate transcripts for updated recordings.
• Check the latest audio after Post-Production changes.

Opening an Issue is the start of a correction, not proof that the correction is finished.

Complete your Review task

Open Tasks or the task status control at the top-right. Select the completion action for your active Review assignment and confirm. A Waiting task cannot be marked complete.

Your task completion is different from manually moving the whole chapter. Directors and members with workflow-management permission can manage chapter stages and reopen completed work.

Complete several chapters

Use the batch task or chapter action for the work you are authorized to complete. Review the eligible selection and inspect any blocked chapters. Forward movement is blocked where skipped stages still have unfinished tasks.

After review

Check the current mix and export the final audio. Marking production complete does not automatically make an older mix reflect new edits. Regenerate or refresh the final mix as needed before downloading.

If a later correction is needed

Ask the director or authorized workflow manager to return the chapter to the relevant stage. For Recording, select the responsible performer when prompted. AI corrections can require Script Editing before another generation.

After the correction, repeat the needed Post-Production, review, mixing, and export steps. Keep the Issue history so the crew can see what changed.

Fully AI-recorded chapters do not need human transcription, but if Review is enabled they still need the configured task handoff and listening checks.
