Audimind Credits Policy

Last Updated: September 7, 2026

Effective Date: September 7, 2026

This Credits Policy explains how Audimind Credits are issued, used, measured, expired, reversed, and adjusted. It forms part of the Terms of Service and should be read with the Refund Policy.

For purposes of this Policy, "Payment Provider" means the third-party payment processor or merchant of record identified at or before checkout for the relevant transaction.

1. What Credits are

Audimind Credits are closed-loop software usage units that measure access to eligible Audimind processing features. Credits:

  • are not money, currency, electronic money, cryptocurrency, securities, deposits, or stored value;
  • do not represent a claim against Audimind or any Payment Provider for cash;
  • cannot be withdrawn, redeemed for cash, sold, brokered, pledged, or exchanged for third-party goods or services;
  • are not a payment method between users and do not make Audimind a marketplace or payment facilitator;
  • are non-transferable between accounts except through an Audimind-authorized workspace entitlement or account correction; and
  • have no cash value except where mandatory law requires a specific remedy.

An internal pricing analysis may use an accounting reference of 10,000 Credits per US$1 for modeling. That reference is not a redemption promise and does not change the legal character of Credits.

2. Credit types and validity

Every Credit is recorded in a source-linked lot.

Credit typeHow issuedValidity
Bonus CreditsFree plan, promotion, support grant, or other non-purchased awardExactly 31 days from issuance unless a clearly disclosed shorter lawful promotion applies
Subscription CreditsMonthly benefit of an active paid membershipTwo consecutive monthly benefit windows; expires at the start of the third window
Purchased CreditsStandard Credit package or eligible member Boost package36 calendar months from issuance

"Calendar months" and "benefit windows" are used instead of a fixed number of days. For example, a Subscription Credit lot granted at the start of the January benefit window remains available during the January and February benefit windows and expires when the March window begins, subject to the account's billing anchor and valid transaction status.

The account ledger records at least the Credit type, amount, source transaction or grant, issue time, expiry time or benefit-window rule, consumption, reversals, and status.

3. Deduction order

When a charge is confirmed, Credits are deducted in this order:

  1. Bonus Credits;
  2. Subscription Credits; and
  3. Purchased Credits.

Within each type, the lot with the earliest expiry is used first (first-expire, first-out or "FEFO"). Audimind may reserve an estimated amount while a task runs and settles the final amount after completion. A reservation is not final consumption.

Audimind does not change the deduction order to favor a more valuable or newer lot. If an incorrect lot is used because of a verified ledger error, Audimind may correct the allocation without increasing the user's total charge.

4. Membership Credit grants

The standard plan structure is:

PlanMonthly priceAnnual priceMonthly Credit grantIncluded seatsWorkspacesStorage
FreeUS$0US$010,000 Bonus Credits11500 MB
PersonalUS$19US$190100,000 Subscription Credits1220 GB
TeamUS$59US$590300,000 Subscription Credits254200 GB
BusinessUS$149US$1,490900,000 Subscription Credits5061 TB

Checkout, order, or plan pages control if they clearly show a later authorized price version before purchase.

For a monthly membership, Subscription Credits are granted at the start of each successfully funded monthly benefit window. For an annual membership, the annual price does not issue the entire year's Credits at once; Credits are granted monthly while the annual membership remains within its Paid-Through Date.

Canceling an annual membership stops renewal but does not cancel remaining scheduled monthly grants through the Paid-Through Date. A refund or effective chargeback may change that date and the associated grants under Section 13.

5. Standard Credit packages

Standard packages are available independently of paid membership, subject to checkout availability and risk controls:

PricePurchased Credits
US$10100,000
US$20200,000
US$50500,000
US$1001,000,000
US$2002,000,000
US$5005,000,000

Standard packages use the same rate and do not include a volume discount. They expire 36 calendar months after issuance.

6. Member Boost packages

Eligible active paid members may purchase:

PackagePricePurchased CreditsEligibility
Member BoostUS$20220,000Personal, Team, or Business
Team BoostUS$1001,150,000Team or Business
Business BoostUS$5006,000,000Business

Boost Credits are Purchased Credits and expire 36 calendar months after issuance. Boost eligibility is checked at checkout. A later membership cancellation does not shorten the original expiry of a validly issued Boost lot, but a refunded or disputed Boost transaction is adjusted under Section 13.

There is no standard purchase-count limit, but Audimind and the applicable Payment Provider may apply transaction, fraud, sanctions, payment, or security controls. Boost access is not a stored-value account and must not be used for resale or arbitrage.

7. Additional seats

Team and Business plans may purchase additional seats at US$3 per seat per month or US$36 per seat per year, subject to checkout availability. Seats are subscription entitlements, not Credits. Adding or removing a seat does not convert seat charges into Credits.

8. Feature rates

The following rate version applies from the Effective Date unless a later rate is shown and accepted before a task is submitted:

FeatureCharge
Manual storyboard or script editing0 Credits
Smart Storyboard800 Credits per 10,000 source characters
AI Voice1,500 Credits per 1,000 billable characters
AI Voice Design80,000 Credits per successfully created production voice style
AI Sound Effects — default duration5,000 Credits per successful generation
AI Sound Effects — custom duration550 Credits per billable second
Smart Alignment10,000 Credits per audio hour
Smart Review10,000 Credits per new ASR audio hour
Smart Review using a valid reusable Smart Alignment ASR result0 additional Credits for ASR

The interface should display the applicable rate or estimate before a user confirms a metered task. A task records its rate version so a later price change does not re-price the running task.

9. Measurement and rounding

9.1 Character-based features

Character measurement uses the source text accepted for the task after the interface's disclosed preprocessing. Smart Storyboard is calculated proportionally:

charge = ceiling(source characters × 800 / 10,000)

AI Voice is calculated proportionally:

charge = ceiling(billable characters × 1,500 / 1,000)

The final proportional task amount is rounded up once to the nearest whole Credit. A successful nonzero metered task has a minimum charge of 1 Credit. The system must not round each paragraph, sentence, or chunk separately and then add those rounded values unless the user intentionally submits separate tasks.

9.2 Time-based features

Smart Alignment and new-ASR Smart Review are calculated from accepted audio duration:

charge = ceiling(audio seconds × 10,000 / 3,600)

The proportional result is rounded up once to the nearest whole Credit. Separate audio files intentionally submitted as separate tasks may be charged separately.

9.3 Custom-duration sound effects

Custom-duration AI Sound Effects are limited to 1 through 30 billable seconds:

billable seconds = ceiling(requested duration in milliseconds / 1,000)

charge = billable seconds × 550 Credits

A requested duration below one second is billed as one second. A request above 30 seconds is not accepted as one custom-duration task. The default-duration option is charged separately at 5,000 Credits per successful generation.

9.4 Estimate and final amount

An estimate may differ from the final charge if the user changes the source, accepted duration, selected mode, or requested quantity before confirmation. The final event must record the measurable input and applicable rate. Audimind will not charge a hidden provider-credit amount in place of the published Audimind Credit rate.

10. Success, caching, retries, and failures

10.1 Successful delivery

A feature is charged when the contracted software result is successfully made available to the account or workspace. Subjective dissatisfaction does not by itself make a successful task a technical failure.

10.2 Cache reuse

If Audimind returns an existing valid cached result for the same account or workspace, same material input, same relevant parameters, and same feature version, the cache reuse has no additional Credit charge. A materially changed input or parameter is a new task.

10.3 Technical failure

A qualifying technical failure includes a provider or Audimind processing failure that prevents the contracted result from being delivered and is not caused by prohibited content, invalid input, user cancellation after committed processing, or an external condition disclosed before submission.

For a qualifying failure:

  • no final charge is made, or the charge is automatically reversed;
  • reversed Credits return to the original type and lot;
  • the original expiry date is preserved;
  • already expired Credits are not revived; and
  • system or network retries do not create duplicate charges.

A technical Credit reversal is not a cash refund.

10.4 AI Voice Design retries

For the same order and materially unchanged design description, AI Voice Design includes:

Plan at order timeIncluded successful user-requested retries
Free1
Personal, Team, or Business2

Technical failures do not consume the included retry count. Changing the core voice-design description, language, intended style, or other material design input creates a new order and new charge. A retry does not relax the requirement that AI Voice Design be used only to create a production voice style and not to imitate an identifiable real person.

11. AI Voice Design and identity controls

AI Voice Design creates a production voice style from descriptive, non-identifying characteristics for audiobook and spoken-audio workflows. It is designed for fictional, creative, and production-oriented voice creation and is not intended for personal identity replication, voice authentication, or representation of a real individual. The current version of Audimind does not provide a feature intended to clone, reproduce, replicate, or create a model of the identifiable voice of a real person. Users must not provide a real person's recording for imitation, identify a real person as the target voice, or direct the feature to create a confusingly similar voice.

Audimind may pause a task or Credit settlement while reviewing prompts, similarity signals, identity complaints, fraud, or safety evidence. A rejected prohibited-use task is not entitled to a successful output. Credit treatment depends on whether billable processing was committed, the notice shown before submission, and applicable law; Audimind will not charge for a result it records as a qualifying technical failure.

AI Voice Design assets and voice-related Projects are private by default. Sharing or publication, where offered, requires an affirmative user action and does not transfer or prove rights in any underlying content or identity.

Any future rights-managed licensed-voice offering, if made available, would be subject to separate product availability, verification, pricing, Credits rates, agreements, controls, regional restrictions, and compliance review. Nothing in this Policy represents that real-person voice reproduction or a professional voice marketplace is currently available through the current version of Audimind.

12. Membership changes and Credit continuity

An eligible upgrade from a lower to higher plan and an eligible monthly-to-annual change may take effect immediately through proration supported by the applicable Payment Provider. A downgrade or annual-to-monthly change normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. The account may have one scheduled future change at a time.

Plan changes do not convert already issued Credits into cash and do not reset their original type or expiry. New monthly grants follow the plan and benefit window effective at the grant time. If the applicable Payment Provider or Audimind reverses the underlying transaction, the source-linked adjustment in Section 13 applies.

13. Refunds, chargebacks, and entitlement recomputation

13.1 Full refund or effective chargeback

For entitlement purposes, a fully refunded or effectively charged-back transaction is treated as if it had not successfully funded the Purchase. Audimind recomputes entitlements from the remaining valid transactions.

  • The unconsumed balance of a Credit lot funded by the affected transaction is reversed.
  • Consumed Credits from that lot are recorded as unrecovered usage.
  • Audimind does not take unrelated Credits from another Purchased, Subscription, or Bonus lot solely to cover unrecovered usage.
  • Audimind does not create a source-less negative Credit balance.
  • Membership and future Subscription Credit grants funded by the affected transaction are removed or shortened according to the revised Paid-Through Date.

13.2 Partial refund

A partial refund requires an explicit adjustment specifying the affected items, service period, Paid-Through Date, and Credit lots. An unexplained percentage or amount does not automatically define which Credits should be removed.

13.3 Pending refund or dispute

Audimind may freeze the unconsumed balance of the transaction-linked lot while a credible refund or dispute is pending. A pending request does not automatically terminate the membership or freeze unrelated Credits.

13.4 Chargeback controls

When a chargeback warning or effective dispute exists, Audimind applies transaction-level controls where practicable. Account-wide consumption or generation restrictions may be used only where reasonably supported by consumed disputed Credits, fraud, unauthorized account use, repeated chargebacks, identity anomalies, or risk of increasing unrecovered usage.

13.5 Reversal of a chargeback

If payment is restored, Audimind restores only the remaining entitlement the original transaction would still provide. A restored lot keeps its original type, amount remaining, and expiry. Restoration does not extend the membership, restart benefit windows, or revive Credits that would already have expired.

13.6 Recovery payment

A recovery payment may be requested only for documented unrecovered usage, fraud, unauthorized use, or comparable risk. It is not the default outcome of every dispute. Payment does not automatically restore consumed Credits, an expired membership, or an expired Credit lot.

14. Expiry

Expired Credits are removed from the available balance and cannot be used. Audimind may keep ledger records of expired lots for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.

Audimind does not extend expiry because an account was inactive, a user forgot to consume Credits, a plan was canceled, or a chargeback was later reversed. We may correct an expiry where a verified Audimind ledger error prevented lawful use. A promotional extension, if offered, must be expressly stated and does not create a general right to extensions.

Where mandatory law requires a different treatment of purchased digital units, that law controls.

15. Account closure and suspension

Before voluntarily closing an account, a user should use eligible Credits and export content the user is entitled to retain. Closure does not create a cash-redemption right. Subject to mandatory law:

  • Bonus and Subscription Credits end no later than their original expiry or applicable entitlement termination;
  • Purchased Credits remain subject to their original expiry but may become inaccessible after voluntary account deletion if the user directs Audimind to erase the account;
  • Credits obtained or used through fraud, abuse, or a refunded transaction may be reversed; and
  • ledger and transaction records may be retained as required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, legal claims, or compliance.

During a temporary suspension, valid Credits continue to age and may expire. Audimind may provide a reasonable remedy where a suspension was caused solely by Audimind error and prevented lawful use, subject to applicable law.

16. Workspace Credits

Credits allocated to or consumed by a workspace remain linked to the purchasing account, organization, transaction, and lot as shown in the ledger. Workspace roles do not create ownership, transferability, or cash value. Removing a member does not undo the member's valid prior consumption.

Workspace owners are responsible for permissions and use by invited members. Audimind may preserve member-level audit records and may restrict workspace consumption when required by the Acceptable Use Policy, payment risk, or law.

17. Statements and history

The product may show an available balance, reservations, recent charges, expiry information, and transaction history. Because a task or payment-provider event may be pending, the displayed balance can change after final settlement. Users should report a suspected ledger error promptly with the task or transaction identifier.

Any cash balance, refund, invoice adjustment, or payment credit maintained by a Payment Provider is separate from Audimind Credits. A Payment Provider balance is not an Audimind Credit lot, and Audimind Credits cannot be used through a Payment Provider or with another merchant.

18. Rate and Policy changes

Audimind may change future Credit packages, eligibility, feature rates, measurement rules, or this Policy. We will provide advance notice where required by law. A new rate applies only to a task submitted under that rate version; it does not retroactively change a completed charge.

Changing future prices or rates does not shorten the original expiry or reduce the numerical balance of validly issued Credits, except for a source-linked refund, chargeback, fraud correction, or other adjustment authorized by these terms or law.

19. Contact
